Had to stop due to rain but made end roads on first lilly bay,no mean feat two tank connectors, skimmer wiring, skimmer intake flow plus exit pipe to next chamber, also covering the folds as i go.
I using gold seal sealant, expensive but trusted to what it says on the label...unlike some rubber products!

I must say you do an excellent job of making that liner fit in there as tight as can be w/o looking folded as I have ever seen! Looks beautiful Whiskey!

OMG, best fold system ever! Way to go Whiskey, but by now, we all expect perfection from you, and I can say I sure am not disappointed! Moving on now ... ready for the big pond?! Can't wait to see you tackle that one next! And, that window should be in soon, maybe another week or so, huh?! Yippee!

Can I ask what that white pipe is for in the third photo? It looks like a rather difficult place to get a proper seal around in the corner like that, and liner folds all around. You got your work cut out for you.

Mucky waters

Its the inlet to the next chamber and yes it was hard to seal [ cut large circle of rubber, place the pipe dia and mark ,now under cut the circle by 5mm alround...now pull over like a sweater and seal it to pipe....now do the same on liner as near as possible.....now glue together with mastic, this now gives you a wider area, to stick to ----easy peasy.] see third photo

Hi to everyone else

Finished first bay [ two down three to go]

plus finished the next bay blockwork
.
Country

take a look at my old capping stones from old pond....now look at grey flash.....the colour is stop on. Now you should be able to see WHY im rendering sides, plus there a lot of plants to soften and it will blend with rest of koi garden in the making.

A lot of time was spent at design stage to merge together with plants, colour and shade......once pond is done theres an arbour going over main pond area to shade pond, so this thread got a way to run, as of yet.

Oh, my, Whiskey that top capping stone is beautiful, and I totally understand the color you are making the sides now. I was just so impressed with your handiwork and creativity with the block walls, I would have been happy to have that showing if it was my pond! :) But, I know it's going to be a masterpiece when you are all done. And, take all the time in the world with the pond, and then all the additions you will have to it when you have water and fish, as we are all enjoying the show and watching all your handiwork and hard work, sitting here in front of our computers oooooooing and ahhhhhhhing and cheering you on! :)
