Addy, so glad all were ok!

Thanks mouseams, so were we! I had put 6 little (1 inch fish) in the pond in septemeber october, never saw them again. But the pond is around 10000 gallons, so we figured they had died, been eaten, etc, so why worry over winter. The ice melted and they are now 2 inches plus, so they were happy under that ice, my pond is from almost 6 feet to the shallow walk out area of 1 foot.

I was shocked to see them show up lol

Something to be said for few fish and nice deep water! WOW! Your pond is HUGE! I am starting to think our pond is larger than I think.

Probably the only way to get the "real" size would be to drain and use a hose water meter to see how much water went back in. ow just get average depths, average size for each area of the pond and sort of add them together. What is the width of your pond? My 1000 gallon stock tank is 9 feet by 2.5 feet deep and round.
