See that's so weird, Addy can grow it like crazy and it just won't survive in my pond at all.
I have it in fishless ponds, where it grows like a weed and in my fish filled ponds, where it grows just fine.
I did nothing for it except dump in the water let it settle where it wanted to, let it grow where it wants to.

I added my 4 other comets yesterday to the 3 I introduced almost two weeks ago. I'm holding the rest of my Anacharis in my aquarium until the stuff in the pond perks up more...it already seems to be somewhat better than last week. My one water hyacinth hasn't done anything, but it needs warmer temps. The dwarf cattails are already showing new growth.

Goldfish will nibble on Anacharis, but Koi will literally destroy it.
Yup - we refer to it as "salad bar". If they would just give it a chance to get growing it could be an all you can eat salad bar!

So far, in the past few months, my comets have not kept the Anacharis from flourishing in my aquarium.

Shock...

Think about it...in the fish tank it had it good. Consistent light, temps, and nutrients....now it’s out in the wild. It will adjust...but the good life is over for it for awhile lol

Mine grows like a weed, we get to 33f water temps in the winter. Right now it is popping up beautifully.
Can there be too much Anacharis in a pond? I know having enough plants are beneficial to the pond ecosystem, but I have top coverage of about 80%. It's beautiful with all the flowers, but I can't see my fish except when they come to the clearer area.

Yes there can be a limit and sounds like you have a ton! Pull some out and give to friends.
