On a personal note, I was a bit vindicated today. The new assistant manager is ready to quit. She was asking me about my job now, and I ended up getting her an application too.

I'm on the lookout for our first hummingbirds. They usually show up middle of April, and the Honeysuckle is just about ready to burst into bloom (which is a huge attractant for the hummers!) so I'm planning on scrubbing & filling the feeders this week. Can - Not - Wait!!!

I made the Formula 1 logo recently and hung it on my wall tonight.

I made the NASCAR logo a couple years ago. I'd like to make the Indycar logo, but it might be too intricate for my skill level. I may also make the IMSA logo.

Waiting for it to rain, ow need to fill the pond. The deer managed to step on a edge, lowered it, surprising how much water you can lose due to a tiny leak over the edge. Fixed now, but they are calling for rain so waiting before I turn on the hose. Down about 6 inches.

Usually a storm fills it right up, rain should be starting soon!

Watching the squirrels and rabbits all pairing up for Spring, so cute! Will get ready soon for my daily walk or bike ride in the beautiful warmer weather we are finally getting. Got my part of the lawn mowed yesterday and need to fill all the bird bathes today and get some more weeding done. Pond filters need cleaning too. Forgetting housework as it's outdoors time for me!

As expected, the coop wasn’t enough to withstand the dogs, dads dog got in and killed 5, injured one, I think it’s leg is just hurt. I’ll be doctoring that one, no blood, just limping. The other 5 got out and avoided the dog. She’s now on a line, waiting till dad comes home to decide her final fate.

I turned on the aerator a few days ago. The yard work is all done. I have been having breathing issues for the last 3 or 4 months, (doing better now with medication) so hired someone to do about 60 hours worth. I consider the woods part of the yard so, I annually trim that too. Last year was a pine cone year (once every 3 years) so, that made for extra work. The place is looking pretty good. Just need some rain to green things up. We are currently in a moderate drought. Lake Champlain is 2 feet below the normal level. That is scary.

Sorry to hear, glad you are feeling better.

I spent the day, costco.................restock trip. We have been not shopping like normal, do restock trips. Lots of stuff, less visits.
Then spent a few hours putting up more of the cams for my new cam system, 32 cams this time. I won't install that many................maybe Love watching all the critters around here.

Spent the day weeding and cleaning the pond. Water is yucky, too bad I don't have a bog!
