What size pump do you recommend to keep this small cove area filled and flowing? As you can see no pond scaping has yet been done. I'm getting to it! I'm getting to it! :)

Wonder if there is a way to use your garden hose to test how much flow you would need? Guess you would have to get a gallon bucket and time how long it takes to fill the bucket and then use that same amount of flow to hold near where the flow would go into your area there and see how it does. Is this nuts or feasible?

Or actually do it backwards from what I wrote. Put the hose in your pond near the area and then do the same flow in the gallon bucket to find how long it takes to fill the bucket.

I was thinking 100 gph or less since you really don't want to much agitation and jw idea may work of course in reverse ,but really fountain pumps are so cheap and last for ever .I have one from NJ that has to be 15 years old .Thing is a lot of them come with very short power cords now so you need to look at that also .I am not sure how far your power is to this cove but a lot of the cords are 3 or 4 ft long .

That is why I asked because it seems a lot of pumps come with shorter cords .Do you have a harbor freight there they have cheaper smaller pumps that have longer power cords .You can use an power cord but you will need the connector protector .
