Hello again.
I am setting up a waterfall with approximately 10 feet of head. I have a Pond Boss 2300 pump. It's specifications say 1125 at 10 feet and 845 at 13 feet.
As it is now, I am running 35 feet of 1 inch smooth walled flexible tube with no fittings other than the straight hose barb on the spillway and pump. I am getting roughly 750 gallons per hour. I was hoping with the specs on this pump it would be a bit more. I am wondering if the fact that I am using 1" hose as opposed to 1-1/2" is causing this drop and performance. Do you think changing over to 1-1/2" hose would make that much of a difference?
Thanks.

I use 1 1/2 and 2 inch .Smaller is just smaller amount of water and can make the pump work harder
