What koi food are u guys using?

Max, I recommend feeding a new type of food for AT LEAST a full season. To really see the difference in a good quality food versus a off the shelf Petstore brand food it takes a while to really see any benefits. So in other words. Just trying a single bag for a month may not really show what a particular food can do for you.

Max we are using Queni koi Japanses mix and Queni koi Ultimate which is a high protien feed at 51% protien
As to your treats and how often do you feed etc we did an in depth study into alternate foods for koi and goldfish some years ago now
Have a good read and digest its contents for future feeds that are alternate to koi pellets but just as good as :-

too bad can't find any of those Queni Koi products on my country
but im still using Aqua Master growth with 41% protien.

We are lucky to get this ourselves the European Union banned the Japanese feed we used to get all the way from Japan someting to do with additives and E mumbers was their excuse pure bloody mindedness in many a koi keepers view .

Good or bad, I'm just using a 36% protein food that I bought on eBay. No real brand name to it, but the store was jonrocketshop or something on eBay. Fish seem to like it, but then again, they like anything.
