John, I didn't know minks would dive like that. Pond is three foot.. Tracks were also pretty big for a mink. Alas maybe I'll have a new coat by the end of winter.

I've seen mink while fishing in northern lakes, often swimming a quarter mile from shore. One tried to take a pickerel off the end of my line. They are totally fearless when hunting for dinner!
