Gosh I wish I could. I have this severe allergy to cold. It's terrible, I start to shake and my nose gets all red and runs.

The weather is warning nicely today and maybe we can get above freezing with the sun shining so bright on the snow.

Hey did you know the sun is closer to the earth in winter than in summer!!!!

Look!!! The Love Child Rio grew again and now a I am starting to look small! ! Ha ha ha

Had to go out this morning and pour hot water around the small hole in the pond to make it bigger. Currently 17, with a high of 22, by Saturday our day time Temps are going to be above 32 for a few days.

Yes, that is what I heard here too, we are supposed to see warming trend with above freezing temperatures. I sure can't wait for that!!

Mean while still frozen too the ground here at -17 Celsius (0 Fahrenheit )

Warming here at 33f and guess our sunshine is done. Clouds moving in and the snow is melting and all the mole hills show up great now

Going to a tree lighting ceremony tonight. It's 75. Just doesn't seem right... I'll take it though.

I swear my fish are going to get totally confused this winter with the way our weather keeps going up and down and up and down.....ice on...ice off... ugh and these next ten days are to be in the 40's and 50's! Well at least I havent had to put the deicer on yet as the bubbler keeps a nice 3-4 ft circle of open water so far.

Been in the 60's and 70's here and packed up 20 boxes of stuff and loaded in my truck to go .Been nice weather to do this .Got great e-mail from ponddigger and he is safe and sound even with all the rain in Cali.

The rain from Spain has arrived here bringing warmer temps. Oh joy in the morning

Not me I didn't pick it. I was born here. I would have picked a nice warm place like San Diego on the beach or somewhere else down there in Cali.

Still waiting for the heat wave . I haven't seen my fish for a long time. Next week temps are suppose to be in the high 30's. Hoping the ice will melt on the pond so I can check on my fish. Currently 28.

Nothing to report here. Nice breeze though. Its 80f here, with the breeze feels like 78f. Might take the boys to the beach later.

Pond has not started to freeze, so I guess I will run my falls all 'winter'. Hopefully it doesn't dip past 76f tonight, or I might need a sweater.
