Ok here, no rain and that's what counts in my book. Found out more on the Comcast outage here yesterday. Someone in Arlington climbed up a pole on one end of a road,cut the wire and then climbed up another pole down aways, cut that end and stole 200ft of wire. Happened around 3am. Comcast is offering 2yrs of service and $5,000. reward for info leading to the arrest. It was a fiber optics cable w/ none or hardly any copper in it and they figure that is what they were looking for............and if not careful fiber optic wire can cut the heck outta ya if not careful they say. Dumb idiot!

We had some idiot here some years back climb into a Hydro sub-station and try to help himself to copper wires. 40,000 volts are nothing you want to play with!! Fried him to a crisp. Instant justice!!

There are people here that go around to abandoned houses that are rural and steal everything not nailed down,I saw on the news that a single wide trailer was stolen from the peoples property while they were in Florida

Very true poor people were in Florida for funeral to come home to no home .It was new and still had it's wheels and tongue .Everything was hooked up they were just waiting for clayton homes to remove them .

well got food out and divided it for summer .end of season sale at pet mountain for 29 dollars and all weighed out .1 of us only wants 1 lb they only have 3 fish .New supplement for fish came .Tammy gets 2 lbs and I get the rest .I keep it sealed tight in a dark cool room.by the way says heat pump because I took pics of my existing unit

.Getting an energy audit done today to see what needs to be done before we decide on new heat pump .So far 3 quotes .When I talked to the guy on the phone he needed to really know a lot before he even comes to do it .I felt like it was a total question and answer phone call .I needed to get all the specks out on the house also

Haha, Sissy, I thought you were getting an energy audit on YOU! You wear me out, reading what you get done all day at your home. And, yes, knowing that you do it all solo is amazing.
It was yet another 76 degree day, sunshine all day, after the rain moved out that came overnight. How nice is that? They said T-storms, but I never heard any thunder. Left me .6" of rain, which was perfect. Tomorrow, another bright sun shiny day, close to 80. Pretty sure I'm going to wash my deck and clean it off in the a.m., then give it all a coat of Thompson's Water Seal again. Have not resealed it for 2 years, so it's due. Good all day project. They are saying chance of rain on Sunday, but not until the evening, so that should give my deck a good 24 hours to dry.
