Yep sissy you guys that get that rain that measures in several inches at a time get more at once then we do but ours just comes down all the time in smaller amounts. Sun poking through the gray clouds this afternoon now. Guess I shall eat something and roam around out there in the outside world for awhile.

still raining hard and almost 4 pm and now they say until thursday .I may need your ark JW .I had to go out in rain to bail water out of the pond so I could find the side over flow and it was plugged up a little and pond was almost up to the boards on top .I was out there and got soaking wet in just 15 minutes

We were warmer than Scottsdale Arizona this morning. I don't think I've ever seen that before.
The jet stream has really taken some wild curves this year.

They where showing ice covered pools in glendale, az on the news, some kids playing ice hockey from the sides. Ice not thick enough to stand on, but totally iced over.

I let my tenants know what plants would look dead with this freeze and to just wait it out. Most will come back, a few will die off.

We have gone from almost 80 degrees on Monday to 32 tonight and a CHANCE of snow. Did I actually say snow? yes, they are forecasting that we could get some flurries in the early morning hours. What a heck of a week for the heater and AC unit to go out at work and the boss is out of town. I probably look like the Abonible Snowman in the morning!

Low currently 17 F with a high in the low 30's today. Extended forecast mid to high 30's during the day to high 20's to low 30's at night. Pond still 90 percent frozen, hate not being able to see my fish.

We were up to over 50 degrees, pond water, back down to 40 now. Sounds like the snow is going to smack VA, skim by DC and totally miss us in north MD.

They are saying 3 to 4 inches but ground is so warm it will melt for awhile .I guess will wait and see :question:
