So, I hear "fish in for cars" may have to really fish for his car with all that water down there!! Has it quit raining yet?? Hows the fishy's doing?

seems eople have it and then go out and spread it I take extra vitamin c drops and drink lots of juice this time of the year but can 't drink orange juice to acidic .I guess it is really making the grounds as all you here on the news is that .Take care of yourself .

Still and raining today, But the river seems to be falling slightly. All the Koi and Goldfish are fine, having a little problem keeping the KH up and therefore getting some PH fluctuations. The pond in the front yard has been over flowing and if any fish went over the levee it won't hurt the pond population at all. The back pond a whole different story. I stocked it with channel cats back early fall and I'm afraid a good number of them have now swam out. No to stop them from swimming out and only hoping that some stayed deep in the pond and don't swim out. Only time will tell on that.

Freezing cold here but had the sun out today. Tonight will be in the teens.

Get well to all you getting the cold/flu bugs and hope you dry out some Sissy and Larkin(hope no gators come a calling! Addy you can keep our wet weather and I'll hang onto your cold you should be having...........deal or no deal?

In that's terrible Larkin! That's my worst nightmare on planet earth, cause I live on the flood plain and the floods have come so close in the last 20 years, I fear my luck will run out someday and my fish will swim out of the pond! It's so bad that I get nightmares in the spring when the water gets high and my stress level rises. I built my pond up slightly, by a foot or more in the top ponds, just to give it a "edge" above the ground to prevent minor flooding. Then on the low area where the water would leak in first, I build slight raised flower bed to act as another barrior. Going to add to that bed this year and make it higher maybe....

Are those big cats very expensive? Then after the flood is gone you will be left with one heck of a mess, I feel bad for you...

Going to minis five Fahrenhiet tonight. City bus got suck in the snow this afternoon, city worker tried to dig the big bus out of heavy snow with shovels! don't know how well that worked out .....

Brandon, listen to Sissy, takes lots of vitamin C, it will help big time and they say you can't OD on "C" cause you loose all the C in your "P", he he he!

JW thanks for "snaping me out of my brain fog...) Guess I must have had visions of an early spring, yesterday was so darn warm the snow was melting like crazy and water was pouring out of the eves trough, now it looks like I will have to wait till March

Snowing like crazy, roads have black ice and very poor visibility once you get out of town, I think the highways will be getting closed tonight, thank goodness my hubby is done with the radiation treatments and not traveling in this,

So happy your hubby is done with the radiation treatments. 

Never noticed that add before, but now that you mention it it is quite dumb! Massive snow piled on side of road made city bus stuck, and they advertize how to stay cold!!! Were in a "deep freezer".... Hot chocolate would have been a wiser choose of advertising dollars!! Too funny... here I will post it again for those who need a laugh!

Yes hubby all done with radiation now, but mouth still very sore. Somehow he still gets in a good laugh.... My hubby and Poppy are spending way too much time watching Jerry Spring and Maurey every darn day! Now he tells me that Poppy suspects that I may not be her real mother!!!! Hubby says Poppy told him She wants a DNA TEST! Ha ha he he
