It really felt like a hint of spring today. I'm not even sure if it hit 40°F, but the sun was out, the wind was light, and the snow is melting. Most of the snow around my pond is gone now. My Prairie Smoke may start showing signs of fresh growth in the next week or two.

27f right now. Heading to 50. The pond dropped from 53 to 44 after I got it running. The cold nights are pulling it down.

What a fantastic forecast we've got! Almost all snow is gone. All that remains are the areas in shade and some of the large piles along driveways. I'm feeling more confident that I'll be able to start my pond by April.

No rain here yet but only got into the low 60's and kinda breezy but just right for digging along side the road all day long. Done now w/that project. Rain coming tomorrow night.
