Raining to beat the band....................what the heck does that mean anyways?

My grandma used to say that. I always pictured it meaning raining hard enough to beat a marching band. That doesn't make much sense, though.

Its melted a tiny bit today.... Yes we got snow and it was much worse This Morning before half melted away. Was a awful bizzard yesterday.

I told old man winter he is not welcome here ,hope it works .87 degrees yesterday and supposed to be 88 degrees today .Sunny and already worked on my gutter downspouts I had 2 cracks in the extended pipe and had to replace that section .Lucky it is the section that only has rocks on top of it so easy to replace .

Beautiful picture if it was in Dec or Jan or Feb, not in early Oct. right? Hope you get some more warmish days before the real winter arrives.

today supposed to be 84 but humidity is still around 89 % and a chance of a thunderstorm ,but sunny for now.Filled the hummingbird feeders again
