All is calm but all is wet! 42f
I'm hoping it's really true that Thursday might be sunny and warmer. One day tho and that's it? Then back to rain and cold. Burning up all our Winter wood. We are getting seriously teased here!

Even though it snowed all day yesterday, it was melting nearly as fast as it was falling, so only about two or three inches stuck. It continued to snow overnight and is still snowing now, and added maybe another 1" to 2".

I hate it. That can't be said enough. I hate it. I hate it. I hate it.
I'm glad I don't live in Green Bay, though. They were originally expecting about 8" and instead got two feet.

85F on Saturday while away on a college visit (Syracuse). Then yesterday it was 40F during a 40 mile bike ride. Today 60F but a deluge. Mother nature is screwing with me....

Oh no. Another 2"-4" of snow in the forecast Wednesday into Thursday. Unbelievable!

The only thing keeping me sane is seeing 50s in the forecast next week. I refuse to let my mind know that those temps will probably drop. It WILL be 50s and sunny and all this snow will be a distant memory.

Our snow is almost completely melted. Yesterday, my Prairie Smoke was completely covered in snow, and today it's free. On a side note, I checked the rabbit nest today. They're gone, so I can continue my garden project as soon as it warms up again.

Glad my snow is finally gone and Just hoping no more snow flakes till fall. I was bummed out for a long while with the long winter, but slowly ground is warming and pond water up to 48 degrees yesterday! All fish in outdoor ponds look good dispite the extra long winter. Big koi were all out swiming at top of pond and appeared to be hungry. Still too cold to feed them but somehow they still look fat and very healthy. Water looks crystal clear and extra cold spring has kept spring algae down. Going to get more yard work done this week too!
