Hot, humid & clouds rolling in again. Only thing loving this weather is the berries! 18 pints of jam so far and pulling a quart of blackberries every other day off 2 bushes. Dreading next month when blueberries start. Today's harvest -

I'm actually tired of blueberries! We get 40-60 pounds a year. I'm the only one who picks them. Last year I let most of them go to birds and deer. I was going to cut back the bushes this spring but....... now their 8 feet high and loaded. Please feel free to come and pick as many as you would like!

Coffee is a daily ritual for me. I am more addicted to coffee than anything else. First thing is coffee. I could live without alcohol or anything else, but not my morning coffee, perked in my very old GE coffee maker, made in Canada like back in the 60's.
Going to see my mom at the hospital today and spend quality time with her. My mother means the world to me and I just want to be with her as much as possible.

I planted some raspberry then got rid of them, the pain in picking was not worth the reward. Then I found out you can get thornless, but have not done that.

It is raining, hot and humid here
