Police have to deal with drunk drivers and then they will have to deal with high drivers .I have seen on the news here about children going to school high because of parents smoking pot around them .

With all this talk of plants, 66 here today and the local Lowes store is fully stocked with summer flowers and veggies. They even had pond plants that never come in till June. I questioned if they were taking a chance on a late freeze. Seems the companies they buy from decide when to ship. Either they know something about the upcoming weather or are looking at getting extra money from Lowes to replace frozen plants. Tempted but just got 2 rosemary plants.

No rain yet, but earlier I heard a rumble, looked out the window, and saw what sure looked like Marine One and an identical decoy flying by. They were low and close. No news reports of president or anyone else coming to Milwaukee, but that's where it was headed. It was so low and loud that all the birds in the yard flew away.

Yesterday was the strangest Good Friday Ever!! 4am in morning one massive bolt of lightning stuck a power pole and transformer, burning everything to the ground... I had to Work on Good Friday. Started shift at 1pm in afternoon, power was still out at the biggest grocery store in town, where I work. Everything was so dark and emergency generator would not work, we had to empty all freezers on the shopping floor. Power was out for over 10 hours! Was a nightmare and we had to garbage lots of spoiled food!
Today we're almost back on track, got everything stocked again. They had to send in extra workers from Lethbridge and Calagry to help us get store Back in order. Good thing I was Woking cause I got extra hours at double time and a half!!! :)

Weather is turning cold now and should freeze hard tonight...
