Nice here,sun shining. Not happy tho, our bicycles were stolen last night. They cut the locked cord and had to undo a ton of bungee cords.They were locked to the back of our camper rack. Darn thieves! No more riding on this trip. We didn't hear a thing. Saw the trail of the tires where they rode them away

Awe JW that stinks. Lawdy I hate a thief. I'm so sorry that you had to deal with that.

This was my first winter with my greenhouse. It is 8' x 16'. I bought one of those oil filled electric heaters, but it didn't keep it warm enough....my veggies were not doing well, so I turned it off. I was thinking of getting a small propane heater for next winter.
This is a pic right after I built it; it was a kit I bought from Sunshine Gardenhouse. I have since put benches along both sides. Did you build yours from scratch or buy a kit? If I had to do all over again, I would build from scratch, I think.

I run my greenhouse all year round but I have built mine myself and it has heavy poly on inside and outside, walls have almost two inches of air pocket to help keep frost out. Also I pile the snow as high as possible around outside bottom for further insulation as frost rises from the ground.

Feels nice and warm at 53 degrees (+11Celsius) right now. Been busy with the fairies and working on latest project. Garden Gnome Gazebo made from old wood collected from prairie and burlap screen walls with purple corn cob leaves from last year to thatch the roof. I think it is going to look so awesome out front by the guppy pond once the flowers start growing.

It's been nice here so hubby helped me scoop leaves out and thoroughly clean out filters and do a big water change. Still working one handed so he's finally learning about the ponds. Now I can't see the fish in the one pond! 5' deep and had visibility all the way to the bottom before the cleaning and now nothing! It looks like its going green so will give it a couple of days before putting in the UV.

I tore the rotator cuff. Had the repair surgery in Jan. so hopefully by July I should have full use of it again. Right now I have T-Rex arm (elbow not allowed to leave my side)!

Wow I'm so sorry. That's weird, my water man had his done in January and he is 6 weeks into rehab. He's still having issues but can almost fully raise it above his head. My banker had his done too, now that I think about it and they put him straight into rehab. I hope everything is ok!

Doing rehab but it's all passive. No actually using shoulder. I tore all 4 ligaments completely loose plus damaged bicep muscle. All this from moving water lily pots!

Moved out of KOA in Las Vegas and now in much nicer area in Lake Havasu. Sun shining but wind is really blowing. Gonna see if we can find some cheap used bikes to use for the rest of our trip. We will never see our old bikes again. Have been looking on Craigs List to see if anyone tries to sell but even if we see them nothing we can do. Not going back to Las Vegas to get them from Washington.
