How are your ponds? It has been so mild here in central Virginia that my Goldie's are up and out of hibernation looking for "treats." My anacharis and Lily pads survived the winter well, also.

I hope the anacharis is thick enough to sustain egg attachment ... my goldies have never reproduced ... I suspect that they had insufficient locales to deposit their eggs.

I look forward to adding a black fantail in a few weeks, if I can find one.

In spite of a few freezing nights, my goldfish have been eating regularly and I'm seeing some string algae to boot. Time for the annual vacuuming soon and hopefully the plants will wake up soon. The creeping Jenny and watercress barely slowed down this winter.
Would love to see your black fantail if you get it.
