That net gives you such peace of mind knowing they are all safe I bet. It does mine.

A couple close-ups from the pond today... The two plants that did AMAZING in the pond this year. First one is a Tea Cup Taro--it is literally almost 3' tall. The second is a giant dwarf papyrus. The koi loved swimming around that one (and knocking it over) all year.

Runner-up mention to the water lettuce, as that multiplied like crazy but kept the water quality beautiful for most of the summer.

I got my net to keep the leaves out of the pond the other day. Dificult to untangle but so thin it could hardly be seen. Loved it. After one day got a call at work saying dead bird stuck in the net and it fell into the water, two fish trapped in the net and daughter had to cut net to free the fish.
Net is now in the trash.
