Taking the good with the bad: the water plants are growing well here but a hummingbird hit the window and didn't recover... :unsure:

@JBtheExplorer , the rabbits are doing a number on my blazing star this year. Can I plant the seeds from the one or two that will actually mature so that there are a wider variety of targets next year?

You can try, but I leave mine go to seed and have only ever seen one seedling appear.

@EricV - I scatter the seeds from our blazing star and always get lots of seedlings. So it's worth a try! We're having the same issue with a rabbit this year - or rabbits. There seems to be an army of them. While I'm chasing one out of my beets, the other is munching the liatris!
