Should be just under a month until they hatch.

Here's a shot from my basement window. I can see her real good from there, but the screen and dirt on the outside of the window make for bad photos. With the sun angle of that time of day, She can only see her reflection, so she had no idea I was there. In the morning hours, it seems that she can see in.

Another duck nest update. I counted 13 eggs and she's staying the night, so she's on the nest full-time now.

Spring has sprung and so have some of our ferns. I love ferns so I please indulge me.

I am getting ferns growing in my yard and in some of the rock areas .I guess birds are now seeding my lawn .Some of them look like sharks in the video koiguy

I love ferns too. One of my favorite plants.

I love ferns too. We have a deep shade garden and I've got several varieties growing there, along with hellebore

I love how the ferns have just showed up around my pond.

I bought this huge cantilevered umbrella to put on the back patio. I can even position it over the pond to provide constant shade to the south side in the summer. My wife says it's mainly for entertaining guests - but we know better.
