What does your pond look like ... Today?

There's snow in the Seattle area today - not a regular occurrence here but a welcome change for a day or two.

Fish are awake today and ate a bit with the water temp at 47.

I am a first time pond guy....Donald and Hillary have been in the pond for close to a month.....but what fascinates me is their movement with temperature change...four days ago water temperature was 45...today 55.....today moving faster grazing on algae....

Water temp 55 and Koi = need to feed a bit of wheat germ food imo.

I know my goldfish would file a complaint.

I have read so many conflicting articles about feeding Koi when the temperature is low....but the consensus I get is don't feed them until the water temperature is above 50 degrees for a long period of time.....I have my wheat germ food ready but haven't fed any yet because of the temperature swings. Your opinion please.....Jimmy

It's still snowing up here in Arlington off and on. Went for a long walk in it and hubby went part way then I continued on for a bunch longer.

Looks similar here too JW. Pond got dumped with snow this weekend. Last weekend we had no snow !

No snow no ice, 56 F yesterday heading to 67F today
Pond is liquid water, arachnis growing tall. Fish swimming and snacking on it

More snow falling. Don't feel like shoveling again. Thank goodness I don't have to work cause the roads look packed with snow...

Enjoy your day off @callingcolleen1 it's sunny here but still below freezing. No more snow in our forecast, just rain and lots of it on the way.

be safe colleen shoveling can be hard on a body .Wet heavy snow makes it worse

I got the yard shoveled well and made paths in the back yard for the baby Rio. Old puppy Poppy not doing too well, arthritis and the odd cough.... Poor Poppy needs needs nice warm weather, which is coming this Thursday. Meanwhile it was down to minus 30 last night, should be the last cold day of winter hopefully!!!
