What do you feed your Koi?

I used to feed my discus beef heart. I'm sure the koi would eat it as well.

Beef heart? I used to have big oscars (cichlids). I would feed them cat food. They would eat it right out of your hand. If you look at the ingredients of (some) cat foods it's nearly identical to content by percentage. I think the main thing to look out for was the volume of ash (though I don't remember why). I'm sure you could feed koi that as well...if you were in a pinch anyhow.

my fish love the fresh strawberries and blueberries .I gave aggie a couple of strawberries from my plants yesterday .I have everbearing ones and gosh they are loaded with berries .
