There was a whole 10 foot long by 4 feet wide and filled with all kinds of lotus ,I don't know what they called it was a liner with 2x8 s on the top and the sides same set up with the cattails ,same kind of set up .Nothing growing in the pond ,except a couple of fish and gunk and leaves and no rock on the bottom of the pond .

Brought some of them here and have them sitting in cleaning tank don't know what could be hiding in there ,lady said place has been empty for 2 years and people are ripping everything out to build a custom home on the 10 acres .Cattails are cleaning to .some I'm taking to a local pond store they will buy them they said and some I gave to the people I gave the other stuff too .There were at least 35 plants by my count and they made it through the winters so are hardy ,I'm guessing .Lots of off shoots on those plants too .

They were in pots in the water but shoots grew into other pots so not sure taking them apart like I did will hurt them .They were sort of interlaced with each other .Tons of buds

some may suffer, if you got the tuber with roots, you should be fine, may lose some of the buds. The lotus will jump pots, i.e. send roots to other pots.

That is so neat you saved them sissy, you should have saved all, lol, post a classified and make a few bucks.

I did take them all I have not seen any wilting on them so far .I just went out and checked them .I counted finally all the pots I have and there are 33 pots and I gave that coupe 3 pots of them .The pond store lady said because of there size and look she will give me 20 dollars a pot .I e'mailed her pics and she is going to stop by ,I will keep 3 for myself .She told me for healthy ones this size she gets 40 dollars or more and she can't keep them in stock .I told her I want 25 dollars then .Do you think that's fair or am I being greedy .I saw them at her pond store a couple of month's ago and she wanted 50 dollars can you believe that and they were not as big or nice as these .Tubers she sells for 15 dollars .I could not afford that much for a plant but guess some can .

Do you want to try selling them yourself? Those are nice plants, and I would sell to her for 25, not sue in your area how well craigs list works there.

And they are all potted, she won't even need to do that

true but will need to clean them up good and selling yourself here is a nightmare .I would have to watch out for another craigs list killer .ok then will tell her 25 ,she is still making a great profit . Some of the plants are 4 and 5 feet tall .That flower I had in my hand I had to reach to get to it .I had to actually step on the top of the board .Granted yes the planter was part above ground and I am only 5ft 2 inches tall but gosh I thought these were unusually tall .

she came just before and she told me the varieties and the reason she came today is she needs to cover customers orders and could not believe how healthy and tall they were .She was very honest and gave me 35 for 15 of them and 30 for the rest .Nice lady too .I ended up keeping only 2 of the ones with the biggest runners and tubers .Glad I made something from them decent .Oh and she gave me 20 for the cattails I kept 2 of them out of 25 of them .

she said they were some of the healthest plants she ever saw .She wanted to know also about aggie and bert (like I could ever sell them ) She said she has a couple of people who want koi .So she gave me her card if I ever get more to call her and she would buy them .I told her about the other pond and that I have to get rid of at least 6 of them .Two of them are bigger than my aggie .She will meet me there tomorrow to look at them .This could get profitable after all .Those other fish spawned I put in there .
