I would venture to say Indonesian. What do you mean by feral Koi. Koi are carp. Any animal in its natural habitat or environs is considered wild or feral. Indonesian river carp are feral.

I think what Marshall meant was koi that had escaped from a breeders thru fooding or something along those lines, Bluewater seems to have muddied the waters somewhat in that statement
To Val and I who keep cats feral means returned to the wild from domestic a like our last rescue kittens mother who gave birth in an outside coal house and had nothing in the way of human contact.
Its taken us over the year weve had her to get her used to humans, she was sent to us from our friend Tracy who works for the cat protection folk here in Plymouth because she knows we have a special way with cats and can with alot of hands on work, work miracles with rescue kittens who need extra hands on experiance, in fact she came to us only part way thru her hands on training because of a large influx of kittens and cats.
Even with our hands on work with her she prefares to be outside and spends alott longer outdoors than our other two cats ever do..
So thats the meaning of feral to us .
But these longfin River carp are from the natural river population of wild carp [scientific name] ?.
