Weird discoloration

Gee, @Dave 54 , and just about the time I thought I was getting a handle on these fishy diseases...... Does it also affect goldfish?

Maggie to tell you the truth I dont know all my expertise is in koi you'd need a heavy duty goldfish book for that I believe I passed you the name of such a book while back that goes into goldfish genetic's diseases Pathogens etc did yu buy it ?,
If not it might be an idea that you do because my only book on goldfish doesnt cover that even if it is Dr Eric E Johnson Author it doesnt seem to cover it sorry .

Thanks Dave, we have not had a problem with water values...I test regularly and we do water exchanges every 7-10 days on average. So if it is Hi-kui is it lethal? Like skin cancer in humans? I will have to do some research on it, but thanks for the info! I do appreciate your input!
