thanks guys....@koiguy - i'm planning on making a lot more media. That tank is about half full at the moment and i've had to grind up 20x 9 feet electircal conduit pipes. It just takes a bit of time.
But i can see the effects already.... the water is very, very clear. No string algae, and best of all the fish love the waterfall. They love playing in it :biggrin:
The wood construction took about 10 complete days. It's been fun.
