Water Temps are 55'! Fishies Seem Happy

i dont think ducks bother the fish.( ive ever had a problem there) atleast not any of size..fry would be my concern. there is a bird that looks pretty much like a duck but with a pointed beak...they eat fish. i cant reccall its name. i dont like ducks because they leave their poop all over the place in and out of the pond.

84 here and water at 63 so the fishies had a snack of winter food. They have been jumping to get the swarming gnats! Finally got my 3 55gal. filters hooked up and running along with the old Savio. Hoping I found the water loss problem with the bog (tomorrow will tell).
Getting ready to start up the 2nd 150gal. stock tank filter on the second pond. Just running one now and a cheap pressure filter with fines filter and can finally see the fish and the bottom fof the pond 5' down. YAH!! The smaller koi are chasing so watching for chasing with the big guys but not sure if I have any males of breeding size. Love this weather.

I cleaned the pond, only got 1/2 home depot bucket of junk/slash those darn huge leaves that come from somewhere, out of the pond. Not too bad for not cleaning since October. I filled a oil pan full of trap door snails as I cleaned.
