Thanx Big Lou just got back from funeral of an old oppo of mine from my HMS Ark Royal days he sadly passed due to cancer .

I would let it sit for more than a few hours I'd would say a couple of days should tell you if the liner is leaking. If after a few days the water has gone down then continue without turning on the pump. Let it sit until the water level stays steady, at that point look for a tear in the liner. Don't worry about evaporation. If it's a leak you will know it.

The south bank before and as it looks this morning. The purpose of the work was to remove old structural material and slope the bank. Please recall I stated much additional work is needed. Comments welcome.

I'm wondering if the tree has breached your liner Big Lou then one in the photo looks awfully close to the waters edge my friend , Val says thankyou she always appreciates your good wishes as do I .
