Well now how come you can grow them John and I can't. Actually I only had one really small one one year and that's all I bought at the grocery store so maybe if I gave them another chance..................I don't know.
Ya, I don't know why either. When I inherited the pond it had WH in it already and every other year or so, I'd buy some and put them in and they've always grown. The pond gets pretty fierce sunlight, but as it's shaded, I don't think it gets more than 5 hours a day at the most.

John are you getting blooms?

Well this year water hyacinth growing for me and so are water lettuce.The water hyacinth grows decent in the filters .I am going to over winter them in the basement again
