Wading Pool w/ Waterfalls

I'd like to do plants. The plan is after the first drop off to create a stream with an offset area of low flow for plants. But none in the "pool." Definitely no fish. I'll keep those inside :lol:

Design wise, is it a good idea to have the wading pool slope a bit, even if only a couple of inches to where the skimmer would go? I'm thinking it would be a good idea to collect the sediment on one side.

water finds its own level but the slope would help bottom debris gather in a smaller area...skimmers only draw surface debris.

oh yes labs love water ... and the beagle side of the pug one might :0)
