all ponds start out messy and hate to tell you this but along the way you are always changing things and that darn mess appears again :);)

OK.... here's the pics so far. These were ages ago...I've had a lot of stuff going on. Bit more advanced now but will take some pics as soon as weather improves.

A suggestion for your interlock, when you're "sanding" the joints, use polymeric sand. Ensure that the bricks are clean and dry, dry sweep the polymeric sand into the joints, gently blow off the excess with a blower, lightly "mist" the sanded joints with water (no pooling). The polymeric will harden. Do not allow polymeric sand to get wet until it's properly applied and the excess removed.

For "new" interlocking brick, do not use any type of a sealer after initial install, wait a year to allow for efflorescence to appear, wash away efflorescence with muriatic acid, rinse, allow to dry completely before applying a sealer.
