too many idiots in this world...

We have plaques on our gates saying "Dog in Yard". Plus, 3 locks on each gate. I was looking out my window and watching the meter reader take his clip board and trying to unlatch the main lock. All the while, the Rott was on the other side of the gate barking his head off. I asked him if he could read the "Dog in Yard" sign or at least hear the barking. He just looked at me funny. I called the utilities company, they now have a thing on our meters that allow them to get a reading from the sidewalk. Talk about an idiot ...

yeah... I wrote a sign myself... "if you piss the dogs off the owner will bite" ! I can't believe the amount of idiots out there standing in front of dogs barking like crazy like everything is just fine.

And I always wondered if I wouldn't of been there and he got in, would we be responsible for any injuries that might of happened from the dog doing his job ... Not sure what he would do in a situation like that.

Per all the judge shows, if you have a sign, locked gates and the meter reader climbs the gate, manages to get through the gate, it is not your issue, no matter what the dog does. Now if your dog was loose that is a totally different story.
