ok ok i am heron overwhelmed...............having issues with my lappy and the gpf, the page does not show right on firefox any more, it has gotten such big font I have to scroll to see the whole page, no clue why all else works, so had to open.........IE........yuck

I had to replace the dvr, with another from the same company, got to love costco, no issues in taking it back. it would only record on 2 of the 4 channels, the cameras got internal fog on the lens.
So we upgraded to a 8 camera system, I was constantly swapping out lines to see something else.

At this point think it is right, can't test it from home needs to be tested over the internet, not the intranet, settings the same as the other, just comcast changed our ip addy.

Computers can be so irritating sometimes.

After adding the :85 now I can see all 4 windows but of course it's dark there where you are now so can't see colors. Did the bird give up and leave again?

I am so ingrained with firefox, saved non important passwords etc..............maybe later lol, right now brain is tired.

still trying to get the dynamic domain name service (ddns) working. It is set up on the dvr, tests just fine, but the internet will not attach. We need this in case they change our ip addy again while we are out of town. Added it to the compatability mode etc........on ie

It has been back every day now, walks around the pond 2-4 times, then hunts bugs in the garden. We have big fat black crickets it is eating. Then it circles the pond and goes away. After staring at the fish for a while. Stays an average of 2 hours. sometimes comes back more than once, usually slightly shorter trips, the second and third trips.

It figured out a way to go across the rock wall, now need to block that one small place with a piece of fence and that should be taken care of. But we did have fence at the bottom of the wall so it just stood and stared at the fish. Will put a few more u tubes up in the other thread once I convert them. it is interesting to watch and learn its habits.

the heron is stubborn, it flies to the south of us, there are some nice big lakes / ponds / rivers that way. Wish it would just stay there..........
It does snag the crickets, a step and bite a step a bite lol, yesterday over a hour just in the gardens, in between circling the pond......
It does like rainy days, it is cloudy and rainy for the next week so I am sure it will be back every day. I need to do a little fixing before it comes back tomorrow. Frustrate it some more lol
