To shelve or not to shelve?

I use mini milk crates. zip tie 2 together and put pots on them. I wish I had built a shelf in but they work well and are lightweight.

Sorry, I seem to have missed your post, BlueOrca. I'm not sure what kind of shelving you mean, but it sounds like an interesting idea.

Oh those shelves are just dandy! I like the way they offer a hiding place for the fish as well as a support for plants!
