tetra has been around for years, and they stand behind there products. If you haven't tried there food the fish love them. i don't know that they are the best food on the market but by far good enough to maintain most fish in a pond and keep them healthy. As for the sludge tablets, give them a try! All it is is beneficial bacteria that actively eat away at sludge and breakdown. More and more companies are coming out with sludge reducers and even at the Koi shows they now have products that can be directly sprayed on food that start helping the process from internal to the filter. robiotic is new but it's basically the same thing except it starts inside the fish to help remove waste and benefit immune systems in the fish themselves. I'm glad to hear they replaced the pump. That just goes to show the upstanding service that tetra takes to make their customers happy and repeat customers.

Yes, I was already keeping fish when Tetra started up. Their food was far superior to anything else available at the time. John

That's what I've been feeding my fish and they gobble it up and love it. I buy the Tetra Spring and Fall diet. I have a different brand for summer but will prolly switch to Tetra when it's gone. I bought mine at Big-als online..................not............Big gals..........we already had a post about that misunderstanding one, lol!

I think Tetra was the first company to start pond supplies for retailers. I know at least 20 years ago. and I like some of you have been using their product for well over 20 years, probably closer to thirty years for me.

I remember my grandmother buying Tetra fish food for her Goldfish in the early to mid-1960s in Sacramento. I just googled it and found out that they started in Germany in 1950.
