Some of those big doggies look heavy! I am happy Bear is careful with little Rio but he too can get over excited and step on little Rio, she is really just an overgrown Mouse! I make hubby take shoes off cause them he can feel for her better and is less likely to squash her little feet.
Hubby is just as in love with Little Rio, and he is so funny to watch him play with her.

After little greenhouse fire on Saturday night, hubby went and got new fire alarms and carbon monoxide alarms too. Our old alarms were getting pretty old.

No more candle's out there Colleen. They make some good heaters now, just make sure they will pop the breaker if they get old and poof out too. I was always afraid to use heaters in mine w/fans cuz if the fan goes out I would think it would get too hot and melt but maybe they have some kind of safety feature if the fan goes out the heater would stop?

Well the little fan heater worked but when it was really really cold to below -30 Celsius, it had a hard time keeping things warm and cozy. So then I would use candles to boast the heat and keep things from freezing. I need to build another one as soon as I can cause I sure miss that greenhouse and I have new and exciting ideas for the greenhouse... like I am going to put little sting of white lights under the wood to light it up all year round from the inside. Then I will make it larger this time, but will drop the ceiling in the winter and section off the peak, cause then I will retain more heat if I capture a triangle of air in the ceiling. I will make it better and more improved, with larger drop down windows at each end so I can get better air circulation in winter.

That is exactly it!! Poppy and Bear run for high ground to escape the tiny Rio Gremlin! Bear will lay and play with her for a while, but old puppies like to sleep all night so Block half the house off for her to run herself out. She is always scattering and dragging her toys or someones socks around house too!

I will take the little Gremlin Rio to run this afternoon when it warms up more to the park. She sure has fun trying to keep up with big puppies and they seen to not mind her chasing them at park.
