Looking it up, it appears it is an either or, comes with win7 but you can upgrade to win8, not an either or loaded at the same time.
I couldn't find that anywhere on the net so gave up. Thanks for looking and letting us know. We can just save the 8 disc it came with and if we ever want to install it we'll have it. I'm really happy w/ Windows 7.

Unsettling times.

Went to my Neurologist yesterday for my regular monthly appointment and to learn the results of recent blood tests. The goods news is my Epilepsy is no worst. Memory loss is slowly continuing to worsen so I will undergo ultrasounds of my carotid arteries and heart to determine if sufficient blood is getting to my brain. I already use a daily Exelon patch to combat memory loss so a booster drug was added. My first dose was last night. I sleep almost 16 hours and had continual nightmares. Hope that does not continue. Blood sugar is extremely high. Referred back to my GP for Diabeties treatment. Almost positive he will put me through more tests to confirm. Next, I have randomly seen splotches of colors appear over the past month so Neurologist has me going back to my Optomolist. If you have never experienced such I can attest it is a bit freaky. Cathy goes in with me with all my doctors. Seems I can't comprehend what they say. This also sometimes happens when listening to televison or for that matter in general. Another test needed, a five hour Neurophycological test. I'm not keen on taking this test since I had one years ago which led another Neuro to make a major misdiagnosis. My current Neurologist says the results from that test will help her evaluate the likelihood for Diamentia and or other disease(s).

Guess that is about it for now.

You have a lot on your plate Lou and I hope you recieve some good news from all these tests and some kind of therapy treatment to get you proceding into a better way of living. Would be hard always having something going wrong or getting worse. Guess we must all face that life is on a downhill path. But we can rejoice in knowing there is a wonderful reward at the end of it when we put our trust in God. Not saying you should be ready to jump on the next wagon outta here just that our life here on earth is full of ups and downs and we just gotta take the lumps w/ the cooshy times. Feel better Lou and you can voice your thoughts here anytime and we will listen and try to lift you up :biggrinangelA:

Sorry to hear about your recent reports, Lou, but be very thankful you have insurance to pay the costs and are able to go to all of those specialists. My brother needs to see doctor after doctor, and he has quit going, because he can't afford to go, his insurance is poop. So, I'm very thankful that you have the resources to help you get through your issues, and know that medicine is a wonderful thing, and doctors out there can only do as much as they can do, and glad you can get their opinions, and know when the opinion is incorrect, and seek another professional's to be sure!
VERY well said, JW, I agree wholeheartedly!
And, I love Ocean Spray cran-grape juice, and the Wal-Mart generic is just as good. Both I dilute half with water, much more refreshing, and cheaper, too! For the bottle drinks, I've learned that the OS Cran-Grape is no longer on the market, at least in my area, and I tend to not like any of the other artificially sweetened drink mixes, so went to good ole Country Time Lemonade in the single serving pouches. Wow, it's like 10X the amount of stuff, since it's mostly sugar! So, now I'm thinking it would be far cheaper to buy the canister, and add the tiny bit to my water that I really want ... yep, lemon flavored sugar water is the best. :blueflower:

Holly Molly............

DALLAS (AP) — A Dallas jury has found a 76-year-old man guilty of capital murder for the shooting deaths of two neighbors in a dispute over dog waste.

Chung Kim was convicted Thursday and faces an automatic sentence of life in prison for the killings of Michelle Jackson and boyfriend Jamie Stafford.

Prosecutors say Kim shot Jackson as she stood on her apartment balcony in February. He then went upstairs to her apartment and shot and killed Stafford.

Kim has said the couple's dog would use the balcony as a bathroom and when the neighbors washed it, the urine and feces would stream down to his balcony.

He's insisted the shooting of Stafford was in self-defense. He's also said he doesn't remember shooting Jackson but he could have suffered a blackout.

Wishing you well Big Lou and better news ahead.

In the summer its slightly sweetened cold tea for me. OK and maybe the occasional cold beer. :)

We are under a freezing rain advisory for tomorrow. Mixed precip expected. Temps hovering around the freezing point. Oh joy!

I would rather freeze any day, then flood

We are flooding, water coming in the back of the house, fast, 18 inches of rain, spinning right on top of us, they are saying this has never happened. Roads gone, tornado, I95 shut due to flooding.

The water is 4 inches deep outside our front door, coming in the back door.
