Those leaks can be ticky to find, check the edges of pond, sometimes after a being rain the edges of liner will sink below the water line. If it's a slow leak, not to worry, there's your water change! Ha ha ha... sorry couldn't help my self.

It's raining like crazy, has been all night and day, Poppy would'nt go make a "p" without me holding the unbrella, Bear just won't go outside. Their terrified of getting wet, but they sure can swim in river!
Darn city people showed up and parked out front for ten minutes, never got out of truck, then they left... must be scared to get wet to.

Big sinkhole on top of hill a couple blocks by my house looks even worse after the pounding rain, all night and day, just waiting for the hole thing to slide any day now..... :)

Wow! we sure just had another down pour of rain, in between the "lighter rain". It's been raining for 24 hrs now, good thing I have rocks built up on the bottom pond stuffed with moss or I'm sure someone would have slipped away!! Look at all the rain, you can see it falling, I took a picture from the window in the house..... Sissy, want to trade some heat for some rain??

No! Our climate is zoned semi arid, or at least is was. I grew up here and lived here all my life, don't remember having this much rain in June, spring has been getting wetter the last three years. It should be really hot and dry, don't know what's happening! Climate must be changing! Help, were drowning in rain! Still has not quit, its back to a steady rain, not quite as hard as it was an hour ago.... supposed to rain all night too!

Finally, the rain quit, for 20 minutes or so... then BOOM! Big thunderstorm! Weird, after over 24 hrs of rain, heavy at times, then a Thunderstorm?? Had to comfort Poppy, she was so scared again, she couldn't eat her supper bone, so Bear ate it! NOW, finally, we been officially "rain free" for more that a half hour!!! Maybe it finally over!! Boy is our grass greeeeen!

Colleen, I would sure trade my 95 degree days for your rainy ones! We are in dire need of rain, and it was this way last year, too, 95 all June, July and August. July and August might be that hot, but never in June, and the whole month??? I hope the weather is not changing for good like this!

I could sure use some hot days and just lay and soak up the sun after this drenching, could we just have a bit if both??? We could trade off, wouldn't that be nice.... OK you can have the rain on the weekends and I could have the sun!!! But with our luck the government of Alberta would "regulate the weather" and charge us extra tax to request sunny days for weekends!! good luck with the scan JW!! I remember my mom had kidney stones in her 50's and she cured herself with this yeasty drink that was fermented, don't know where she got it, wonder if she remembers.... Wishing you well :) :) :)

Thank you Colleen. I tried drinking lemon water to keep them from coming back. Guess it's supposed to dissolve them. Feel good today, now wondering what is going on? Maybe they left and I will be doing this scan for nothing. We shall see. We have sun today and more coming tomorrow and I'll share w/ you and push some your way!

During my sweaty hot humid morning walk, came up on 4 bucks! So neat, they where crossing the road in front of me. They stopped, let me get within 15 feet of them before taking off. Then down the road came upon 2 more bucks!

No camera ............darn

Just got back from our 430am walk to the creek, which is about one and a half blocks from my house. Its an off leash area and the puppies were very happy to go so early in the summer solstice morning. Fog was rolling off the creek area, temp was around 50 degrees, not a bug in sight! Birds were singing up all their favorite songs, while the deer looked on from the the top edges of the green grassy hills. Here's a couple photo shots from this morning....
