pump is in the skimmer. i was right but it never hurts to check, much appreciated. i was very nervous but i was just out there again , in the dark, checking on my buds.my koi are swimming out in the open , attacking my plants, and having fun.now i can relax, oh yeah, what about the heron! i may need some help. i better stretch out the net!

I had to move my new fry from a sm 25 gal tub , into their 100 gal stock tank today and the temp between the two, was 8 deg different
I took a coffee can and scooped out two cans then added two until i got the temp the same,
and then dumped the whole tub in

that's what i tried to do but was chasing the temp diff all day. it was closest in the early am maybe 2 degrees but i wasn't happy with the ph diff. i dumped water from one to the other never getting closer than the 4-5 degrees. luckily all is well.
