My worse leak was a apple fell into a tub near my 1000 gallon pond. I feed water into a 55 gallon drum that water falls into the 1000 gallon tank then water falls into the big pond. Well the apple nicely plugged the output. There is now a screen over the top of the drum.
The big pond was down by about 18 inches, took a day to fill.
