fish safe silicone will also work to bond the liners..on my first pond i did a seam with it.. or polyuerathane caulk adhesive..( PL adhesive, i beleive)

I just picked up some great stuff waterfall foam and as soon as the rain stops ill hopefully finish my waterfall. I was hoping to just silicone the liner down.

that will work!....just make sure the work area is clean and dry....and allow the cure time.

So i think the waterfall should look alright i could always put a valve on it if needed

I prefer tape but I also have easy acsess to it. Silicone will work fine just takes longer to cure, I would wait 24 hours after using it before adding water. The waterfall foam may work equally as good just apply a small bead and work it in and hold the flap down.

I doubt you would need a valve but having one and not needing it is always better than needing a valve and not having one!

so these new pics, are they the 600 gallon puddle ?? if so you must have really differant gallon measurements in america than here in uk, as my pond loks to be 4 times as big as yours, and mine onlyworks out 500 gallons ? ime confused.

Yea Mogsie its not a 600gal im messed up the title of the post and i cant figure out how to change it. Its really only about 350gal.( I don't know how i messed that up)

i thought your post said the pictures were of your other (first?) pond...the one in the pics is obviously not 600 gals. my first pond was 450 and quite a bit bigger.

Yea let me clear this up a lil bit. My "300 gal puddle apparently was only 150gal and i doubled the size of the hole plus some This Year for What i called my 600gal puddle but in reality its only a 350gal. SORRY for the confusion if their is a way i can change the title ill do it or i could start a new thread.
