Stock tank pond help

I would think that a stock tank made for watering livestock would be safe for fish.

I have never used one for fish but I have seen others use them without a problem.

Livestock, being much larger animals than fish, would logically have a higher Zinc toxicity level. For Horses around 500 ppm.

I understand your point but I was thinking more on the lines of the tank being "food safe" as in not leaching anything.

'Food Safe' does not necessarily mean that there is no leaching of toxins, only that they will not reach toxic levels.
