I love the sound too msg and hope I get some at my pond this Spring. I had one croaking a week or so ago under a rock somewhere but then it keeps snowing off and on and haven't heard from him since!

They will come soon. I actually put out my hummingbird feeder just in case they come early this year. The red-wing blackbirds are coming back. We took pictures of them out at the lake today. They are trilling like its Spring.

Those blk birds are not here yet and I do love to hear their singing from the tops of the trees! It's too cold here right now for anything but the robins, thrushes and crows! We might get a bit more snow again.

suppose to be in the 70's here this week in nebraska...rained today but a nice mist/soaker kinda rain. Grass is starting to green up and the robins are back...not to mention the thousands of geese/ducks that have been in the air above. Come on spring!!! My fish on the porch want to much to get back into their outside pond...been bouncing off the walls of their on the porch tub all week!

I hope you warm up soon JW! The local Mute Swans are nesting at Lake Logan already. I'm hoping we don't get fooled by Mother Nature.
