Spring.. huh? Well we got 11" snow last night and are expected to get another 10" today. The PVC pipes that held the netting over the pond collapsed from the weight of snow on the pipes, and the net is sitting about three inches down into the pond with slush building on top of it. Yecccch... messy day. Hubby and I tried to raise the net, but it seems to be frozen in. I did see a fish through the hole in the ice from the de-icer, so I know they're hangin' tight.

Well.. it's been a really tough week at work. But last night we carried logs for the fireplace from the back woods, fed the birds, put out a chunk of raw chicken thigh for our resident fox, and now we're planning to spend the day hunkered down watching movies and reading books. A forced slowdown.:)

The four (4) seasons are great, but I'm still glad I don't live in PA.

I like the milder more moderate seasons we have here in the Northwest.

Happy ponding,

Rich
