Yep! I have one of those too.
The only problem is when you vac leafs on the pond bottom it will stop it up and who wants to stick their arm in the mucky water to clear it.

mine sucks them up without any problems, i.e. stopping up.

Well 39 for the empty the shop vac attachment from sears, and right now 26 for the rigid shop vac at home depot (on sale lol) So a total of 65.

I'm not talking about sucking them up.
I Was Talking about the attachment from sears that pumps the water out of the vac.
I had mine stop up even without that attachment to pump the water out.
This is with oak leafs. I'm not talking about fish poop.

I only have two fish, just used it so far for maple leaves which it handled fine. But a real pond vac may work better.

Good bad or indifferent, I bought a pond vac 4. Prob waisted a great deal of $$, hoping not. I am just sick of scooping out leaves, slim, sludge and alga.

I will report my findings with this one. Just hoping that it is worth the $$. Have the same leaf problem in my pool. So if it saves just a bit of strain on my poor ol back that I have totally messed up moving the pond, rocks and all, then it's worth every dollar I spent on it.

If you have inches of leaves on the bottom of your pond, net out as much as you can first.. Otherwise, the Pondovac 4 has so much suction that you would virtually empty your pond before you got all the leaves out. Regular maintenance thereafter can be done without netting first.
