I need some help with the identity of some snails. I find these in my filter sometimes. I'm not sure where they come from. I assume small ones or eggs getting sucked up in the pump? I also assume they are ok for the pond from what I have read.

those tiny little snails procreate like theres no tommorrow......once youve got them its almost impossible to get get rid of them... i kill them by the hundreds at a time by the thousands it seems when i transfer media between pond filters (indootrs and out). trapdoor snails are far more productive in alge eating and are large enough to actually see in your pond!
