Not sure if this is the right area to post this,

My Goldfish lately have been getting a bit frisky with the warm weather so when I found a blob of what looked like fish eggs i thought i was going to become a proud daddy.
After hitting google my little fish eggs started looking more like snail eggs. Out of curiosity and preservation i decanted the eggs into a container and then forgot about them.
I had read that eggs will usually hatch in a few days so after a week with nothing obvious happening I figured they were a dud. a few days ago i noticed the eggs appeared to have darkened. Still thought maybe they were rotting or something
So today i happen to walk past the container of water containing the eggs to find that the black dots had broken apart and seems to have dispersed around. They aren't much bigger than a pin head and certainly don't really have any snaily features yet.
So... could they be baby snails??

Sounds like it to me, they are tiny when they hatch.

Any advice on rearing young snails? let them grow big enough that the fish don't gobble them up, dietary requirement for healthy young snails etc ?

Being in the pond would be a good start for them to feed on the sides
If they tasted good the fish would have ate them when they were eggs before you found them

If not in the pond they will need to be fed and also have clean conditioned water just like you would do for your fish. You can feed them flake fish food, gel food, algae tablets or even a piece of green leaf lettuce, cucumber, zucchini, etc.
