Thanks Ruben, I think we shall be having a lot more snails then... I have them in my baby fish tank/pools inside... aka I am way over feeding (and rinsing the filters often because of it)... I didnt feed the first babies enough, and they started eating each other (bigger babies ate the smaller babies)... Now I feed plenty (like 5x a day) and even my most microscopic babies are still there;-) In the youngest batch, they are now only 1/3 - 3/4 of an inch in size.

Wow I never heard of that before.
I have heard and seen the bigger fish eating babys in a close/small pond/Tank but not Babies eating babies.

Feed away :goldfish:

I had nick named the bigger babies "chompers" ... again, the size range was under an inch... I am guessing most were in the 1/4-1/2" range at that time. For lack of better wording, I had about 10% tobies in comparision to the smaller guys. Once I figured out that I wasnt feeding as much as I thought I was,the issue resolved LOL. Note to self became keep feeding all they wanted as long as they werent getting fat LOL. Learning some things the hard way. So now I keep the babies WELL fed, and just rinse the filters more often. It doesnt seem to be an issue once they hit 1 - 1.5"... the mid sized babies are 1.5 - 2.5 inches, and they get fed what they can eat in 5 minutes, 3x a day. The 3-4 inch group gets fed 2x a day. I cant wait til the biggest guys get just a hint bigger, as they can almost take a normal pellet/what the adults eat...
